This Privacy Policy explains how Dianliang Emergency Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (USCC 91120104MA06Y8RNXL, registered at Room 601, Gate 3, Building 2, Xiyang Dongli, Miyun Road, Nankai District, Tianjin, China; “ScopeLocked”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use www.getscopelocked.com and the ScopeLocked service (the “Service”). ScopeLocked is a business-to-business productivity tool intended for users aged 18 and above; the Service is not directed to children.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: your email address, display name, authentication provider identifier, and (if you sign in with a social provider) the profile fields that provider returns.
- Content you provide: conversation transcripts, project descriptions, counter-party names/emails, and any other content you paste or upload to build a project brief.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser and device information, timestamps of key actions, and diagnostic logs.
- Billing metadata: subscription tier, credit balance, invoice identifiers, and the last-four digits/brand of a payment method as reported by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers or CVVs.
- Cookies: strictly necessary session and security cookies only. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account;
- Generate, store, and share the project briefs you create;
- Process subscription and credit payments through our payment provider;
- Send transactional emails (account, billing, brief-related notifications);
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited use;
- Comply with legal, tax, and financial audit obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models for third parties.
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of contract performance (to deliver the Service you request), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligation.
4. Service Providers
We share information with a small number of processors strictly to operate the Service:
- Cloud infrastructure & database — hosting, storage, and application logs.
- Payment provider — subscription and credit charges, refunds, and chargeback handling.
- Email delivery — sending transactional and brief-related emails.
- Authentication providers — optional Google or other social sign-in you choose to connect.
Each provider is bound by contractual obligations to handle data securely and only for the purposes we specify.
5. International Transfers
Because ScopeLocked serves users globally and uses global cloud infrastructure, your data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep account, content, and usage data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to fulfil legitimate business needs. Audit records of brief confirmations, credit consumption, and payment events are retained for up to seven (7) years to comply with financial and tax obligations. When you delete your account, we anonymise records rather than physically delete audit-critical rows.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — TLS in transit, encryption at rest for the database, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.
